To treat or not to treat

Our position on beehive management.

We don’t treat our Bees with chemicals or anything in general. We treat them with love and care. We are small so can afford to treat them personally. We use other ways to prevent diseases and I’ll write a big post on that later upon continuing research. I believe there is more than oxalic acid.

We do get in their homes and move furniture sometimes. Sometimes in time to save them from flash flood. Usually not too often but they know us by names. So it’s not completely undisturbed beekeeping but it’s absolutely free of anything. We even smoke them with dried ginger and turmeric pulp.

Hopefully it shows on honey. Definitely on my conscience.
